====== jSlider ======

The [[https://api.comfiletech.com/csharp/api/ComfileTech.jControlsNF4.jSlider.html|jSlider]] control is analogous the .NET Framework's [[https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/system.windows.forms.trackbar?view=netframework-4.8.1|TrackBar]], but has a much more rich appearance, employing jControls NF4's [[jcontrols_nf4:fills_and_borders:index|fill, border]], [[jcontrols_nf4:shape_and_cornerradii:index|shape, corner radii]], [[jcontrols_nf4:gloss_and_dropshadow:index#dropshadow_property|drop shadow]], and [[jcontrols_nf4:text_features:index|text features]], along with a few additional features.

===== Orientation Property =====
The [[https://api.comfiletech.com/csharp/api/ComfileTech.jControlsNF4.jSlider.Orientation.html#ComfileTech_jControlsNF4_jSlider_Orientation|Orientation]] property is used to orient the control horizontally over vertically.

===== Thumb Property =====

The [[https://api.comfiletech.com/csharp/api/ComfileTech.jControlsNF4.jSlider.Thumb.html#ComfileTech_jControlsNF4_jSlider_Thumb|Thumb]] property is used to customize the appearance of the handle that the operator will use to move the slider.

===== Track Property =====

The [[https://api.comfiletech.com/csharp/api/ComfileTech.jControlsNF4.jSlider.Track.html#ComfileTech_jControlsNF4_jSlider_Track|Track]] property is used to customize the appearance of the track that the thumb travels along.

The [[https://api.comfiletech.com/csharp/api/ComfileTech.jControlsNF4.jRangeControl.Minimum.html#ComfileTech_jControlsNF4_jRangeControl_Minimum|Minimum]] property sets the lower bound of the [[#value_property|Value]] property.

===== Maximum Property =====
The [[https://api.comfiletech.com/csharp/api/ComfileTech.jControlsNF4.jRangeControl.Maximum.html#ComfileTech_jControlsNF4_jRangeControl_Maximum|Maximum]] property sets the upper bound of the [[#value_property|Value]] property.

===== Text Property =====
The [[https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/system.windows.forms.control.text?view=netframework-4.8.1|Text]] property is a [[https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/standard/base-types/custom-numeric-format-strings|.NET format string]] that specifies the text to display on the control.  The only argument, ''{0}'', is the value of the [[#value_property|Value]] property.  The characters after the '':'' define the format.

===== Value Property =====
The [[https://api.comfiletech.com/csharp/api/ComfileTech.jControlsNF4.jRangeControl.Value.html#ComfileTech_jControlsNF4_jRangeControl_Value|Value]] property gets or sets the length progress bar.  The value will be clipped if attempting to set it outside of the range specified by the [[#minimum_property|Minimum]] property and the [[#maximum_property|Maximum]] property.



===== ValueChanged Event =====
The [[https://api.comfiletech.com/csharp/api/ComfileTech.jControlsNF4.jRangeControl.ValueChanged.html|ValueChanged]] event fires any time the [[#value_property|Value]] property changes.
