Interfacing with a Generic Microcontroller

The ComfileHMI's RS-232 ports are PC-level (+/-12V), so it may be necessary to adapter your MCU's 5V or 3.3V UART signals.

For adapting 5V levels, use aMAX232 or similar transceiver.
For adapting 3.3V levels, use aMAX3232 or similar transceiver.

ComfileHMI Project Communication Settings

When creating a new project, select MCU and SIMPLE MODBUS.
