Comfile Studio (formerly known as the ComfileHMI Editor) can be used to develop HMIs for all models of the ComfileHMI panel PC, and as of version 4 and later, can also be used to develop HMIs for any Windows PC.

Prior Versions

• We recommend using the latest version.
• To develop while maintaining a specific firmware version, the PC editor of the same version must be used as the firmware is updated when uploading a project to the panel PC.
• SD Card Information: All models except the CHA series do not require an SD card for basic tasks such as upload projects and firmware, but an SD card is required to record logs or store variable values.
• If the installation is not possible due to SmartScreen-related errors in Windows 10, please disable it [Control Panel > Windows Defender Firewall Settings].
• By permanently recording the developer key for each panel PC device, a specific project can contain device specific features. (Please see the description of the verify_developer_key function here).

• 30 widget is free (No needs USB dongle) : No technical support
• Unlimited widget Runtime USB dongle : $99 (with technical support)

• ComfileHMI users do not need a dongle.
• ComfileHMI supports unlimited widgets even without a dongle.
