If you are designing PCB don't forget your decoupling capacitors.

A decoupling capacitor filters noise.

Location and route is also very important. This picture explains the most suitable locations and route path.

Refer to the following figure below from a semiconductor's datasheet.

so it is often best to put the VDD and VSS pins close together.

A capacitor capacity of 10nF ~ 100nF is typically suitable.
