I've used the CUTouch in projects in the past and I'm considering using a CUWIN device in a new project. I just released a FreePascal compiler distribution yesterday that might work good on the CUWIN. So if anyone with a CUWIN wants to try this simple test I'd sure appreciate the feedback.
There is a new (initial) TurboControl minimal distribution of the FreePascal 2.4.0 WinCE cross-compiler and fpGUI (patched by me) here (part of my educational programming project):
http://www.turbocontrol.com/helloworld.htm
fpGUI Toolkit - a cross-platform GUI toolkit using Free Pascal
http://opensoft.homeip.net/fpgui/
FreePascal - http://www.FreePascal.org/
This minimal distribution works for me on a WinCE 4.2 device - a Motorola Symbol MC1000 barcode scanner.
The fpGUI code patch is my initial hack and has several problems:
- No title bar for the program
- Only a single form at the moment
It took me a bit of work to get this far. I hope other programmers (better than myself) can now take this much further.
For a complete (and complex) IDE you might also consider Lazarus: http://Lazarus.FreePascal.org/
For an even more complete (cross-compile features and more installed components) distribution of FreePascal & Lazarus you might try the CodeTyphon distribution: http://pilotlogic.com/
Enjoy!
