====== COM Port Check and RS232C Troubleshooting =====

Do you have a problem uploading to a CUBLOC/MSB device? 

Do an echo test first.

In the CUBLOC Studio, go to the //Setup//->//PC interface setup// menu.

Select a COM port. Only available COM ports are listed. If you don't see any COM ports, check your PC BIOS or USB driver (e.g. in Windows Device Manager) first.

  * CUBLOC Studio can use COM1~9 only.


Short pins 2 and 3.

And then select "RS232C port Echo test"

If you see "Good" then you know your COM port is working.

===== Firmware Download =====

"Firmware download" will erase CUBLOC main chip's flash memory. and upload the CUBLOC's RTOS image to the CUBLOC's main chip's flash memory.

Select "Firmware download" from the "Setup" menu.

If the COM port and RS232C cable don't have any problem, then you can see the following.

After that, the firmware download is done.
