CFNET stands for Comfile Network, a specification developed by COMFILE Technology. It is a unified industrial I/O system designed to make various I/O modules interoperable so they can be used consistently across different environments.
Although processors vary widely—ranging from 8-bit and 32-bit MCUs to Raspberry Pi (Linux) or Windows PCs—the actual I/O needs are largely similar:
