Comfile Studio can be used to develop HMIs for all models of the ComfileHMI panel PC, and can also be used to develop HMI applications for any Windows PC.

• We recommend using the latest version.
• To develop while maintaining a specific firmware version, the PC editor of the same version must be used as the firmware is updated when uploading a project to the panel PC.
• SD Card Information: All models except the CHA series do not require an SD card for basic tasks such as upload projects and firmware, but an SD card is required to record logs or store variable values.
• If the installation is not possible due to SmartScreen-related errors in Windows 10, please disable it [Control Panel > Windows Defender Firewall Settings].
• By permanently recording the developer key for each panel PC device, a specific project can contain device specific features. (Please see the description of the verify_developer_key function here).

• Up to 30 widgets (No USB licensing dongle required): Free (No technical support)
• Unlimited widgets (Requires USB licensing dongle) : $99 (Technical support included)

• ComfileHMI Panel PCs users do not need a USB licensing dongle.
• ComfileHMI Pancel PCs support unlimited widgets even without a dongle.
