Interfacing with a Generic Microcontroller

The ComfileHMI's RS-232 ports are PC-level (+/-12V), so it may be necessary to adapter your MCU's 5V or 3.3V UART signals.

• For adapting 5V levels, use aMAX232 or similar transceiver.
• For adapting 3.3V levels, use aMAX3232 or similar transceiver.

When creating a new project, select MCU and SIMPLE MODBUS.
