A water resistant front panel provides the ability to use the HMI outdoors or other environments where moisture would otherwise be problematic.

Open-frame models provide the ability to mount the HMI to custom panel enclosures in commercial products such as medical equipment and other appliances.

The CHA-0XXPR open-frame model is pictured below.

• More affordable than the water resistant models, and therefore suitable for mass production.
• Due to its reduced thickness, it can be installed in more compact spaces.
• Only RS-232C communication is supported.
